About
Ahadi means 'promise.'
We started Ahadi after watching too many friends lose money to deals that should have worked. Goods that never arrived. Sellers blocked after the transfer. Group savings drained by the one person trusted to hold them. A market this big shouldn't run on hope.
Our mission
Make every promise on the African internet keepable — by holding money in escrow, verifying who's on the other end, and turning honest behaviour into portable credit.
Our principles
- · Buyers and sellers are equally protected — not "the platform's choice."
- · Friction matched to value at risk. KES 500 deals shouldn't need a passport.
- · Every release rule is auditable. Every receipt is verifiable.
- · Built mobile-first, USSD-tolerant, low-data by default.
Team
Built by operators from African fintech, payments, and risk.
